I am an exceptionally motivated and enthusiastic communications professional, with 14
years’ experience in communications and public relations. In my recent role as
Communications Officer /consultant in UN WFP Lebanon, I create and oversee the
writing of media releases, speeches and newsletters, and I handle all media inquiries. I
also liaise regularly with the local government and media, to discuss and highlight the
organization’s achievements and plans.
I have also been responsible for updating the organization social media and expanding
our reach through the use of various social media platforms, which have brought us into
more direct contact with our constituents.
I am experienced in both proactive campaign-driven releases and responsive
communications. The need for crisis and risk management through effective
communication is vital, and I have displayed a knack for dealing with crisis situations in
a prompt and calm manner.
I have repeatedly demonstrated grace under pressure and a capacity to juggle
competing priorities.
I have a long-standing interest in humanitarian issues, and I would therefore welcome
the opportunity to be trained or have an opportunity in a good organization such as your
respectful organization and help contribute to the spread of humanitarian messages and
practices, in order to develop my administrative and organizational skills to assist in the
designing of external products.
UN and its various arms together with NGO’s and independent transnational networks
which aim to promote cultural experimentation and innovation across borders have
been directly involved in the international relief works and crisis management programs,
all aiming at reducing the ailment of my war-torn country and the welfare of its people.
